Allergies and sensitivities are becoming extremely common in our society.
Most of us are familiar with hay-fever and environmental allergies to substances like pollen, dust and pet dander. These symptoms may include runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing or even hives. Adults and children are increasingly becoming allergic to their environment and also to their food.
Many people are not aware that sensitivities to common foods or substances may also result in symptoms such as fatigue, dark circles under the eyes, hyperactivity, joint or muscle pain, digestive track upset, eczema, headaches, heartburn, depression and more. We use kinesiology to see if an otherwise strong muscle weakens in the presence of the suspected allergen. You may have seen this type of testing on Oprah, PBS or Dr. Phil.
The technique we use involves a systematic protocol in which the central nervous system and specific acupuncture points are lasered in the presence of the electrical blueprints of the identified allergens. This re-program’s the brain and body to the new message which suggests the substances are harmless. Stimulation is done using a low-level laser which is a pain-free. This technique is a must for those with multiple food allergies and sensitivities, non-resolving digestive problems, allergies to tree pollen and the environment, fibromyalgia, auto- immune disorders and for those who never seem to feel healthy.
At our office, an initial screening is first done to determine your sensitivities.
After the treatment, a simple nutrition program is highly recommended to handle the reasons why you became allergic in the first place. It provides a window of opportunity to fix the underlying cause of the allergies.
Many of our patients elect to have their sensitivities evaluated at their “Superfoods” visit. At this visit we challenge your body to a host of Superfoods (healthy foods such as blueberries, kale, broccoli etc.) to figure out what is the best diet to eat in your particular situation. We not only send you home with a list of foods that support your body the most (balance PH, prevent health problems etc.), but we also give you a list of your inflammatory foods or foods you should stay away from. These foods may trigger allergy symptoms and they need to be identified.
To schedule your initial screening call the Sunrise Nutrition and Wellness Center at: (908) 441-2276.
